WHAT WE DO
GLOBAL DIPLOMACY
There are 193 UN member states. Each year, AJC meets with senior government officials from more than half of them. Through strategic, long-term diplomacy and engagement with these decision-makers, AJC affects policy on critical issues.
POLITICAL ADVOCACY
Staunchly nonpartisan, AJC advocates for policies at the local, state, and federal levels that uphold our mission and advance our domestic and global priorities. AJC places special emphasis on robust, principled U.S. global leadership as a critical component of our advocacy work.
COALITION-BUILDING
AJC builds alliances with a broad range of faith and ethnic communities in order to jointly advance issues of mutual concern. Fundamental to our mission is the belief that the well-being of the Jewish community is linked to that of other faith and ethnic groups in the United States and abroad.
STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS
AJC's unparalleled online community, including the largest social media presence of any Jewish organization, amplifies our positions, spreading our message while engaging millions of followers on our advocacy initiatives. AJC uses social media, together with op-eds, analysis pieces, and our weekly podcast, to help shape the news cycle and inform policy in world capitals.
American Jewish Committee (AJC) is the leading global Jewish advocacy organization. From city halls to Capitol Hill, at the UN and in world capitals, AJC works to impact policy and opinion on some of the most important issues facing the Jewish people.
The challenges before us are profound. Some may say impossible. But AJC reimagines what's possible. With bold ideas and an unparalleled track record, AJC fights antisemitism and all forms of hate, strengthens Israel's place in the world, and defends democratic values. Together, we can shape history.
