Inspire a Child. Transform a Future.
Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre is one of South Florida’s leading providers of youth arts education, reaching more than 60,000 children every year through live theater, classroom engagement, and year-round training programs. From curriculum-aligned productions that turn reading into live learning, to sensory-inclusive performances that welcome neurodiverse audiences, we ensure every child can experience the magic of theatre—many for the very first time.
Through our Free Children’s Ticket Program, more than 7,000 students from underserved communities attend performances at no cost. Our Theatre Conservatory offers affordable training in acting, musical theatre, and film, serving more than 250 young people annually and launching alumni to Broadway, national tours, television, and film. And our Young Talent Big Dreams competition—presented with The Children’s Trust and now entering its 16th year—gives thousands of performers ages 8–18 a platform to grow, shine, and even springboard to national success on shows like America’s Got Talent and The Voice.
Why Give? Because theatre changes children's lives.
It strengthens literacy and communication. It fuels creativity, confidence, and belonging. It opens doors to opportunities they never imagined. And for thousands of Miami-Dade students, Actors’ Playhouse is the only place they will ever experience live theatre.
Your Give Miami Day gift will:
- Open our doors to children who have never seen a show
- Expand free access for low-income families and schools
- Provide scholarships so cost is never a barrier
- Fund sensory-inclusive programming for neurodiverse audiences
- Support educational theatre that complements classroom learning
- Help us reach tens of thousands more children each year through exciting programming that enlightens and entertains
Help us ensure that every child—regardless of zip code, learning style, or financial circumstance—can discover their voice, their creativity, and their potential.
Together, we can shape the next generation of creators, leaders, and compassionate community members.
