6TH ANNUAL MIAMI GARDENS SENIORS ARBOR DAY HOME BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT
One Community Alliance Network is committed to restoring homes-and-hope-for elderly and disabled veterans and seniors in our community. Our annual signature project rehabilitates five homes each year for residents ages 62-96, including veterans who often lack the resources or physical ability to maintain safe, livable housing. To date, we've revitalized 23 homes, improving safety, comfort and quality of life while uplifting dignity and pride.
From replacing window and doors to painting, landscaping, and essential repairs, each project demonstrates the power of true Community Care. This work is fueled by strong public-private partnership that includes local Neighborhood Watch groups, charitable organizations, public officials, corporate partners (Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau & Calder Casino, vocational schools (Miami Job Corps and Greater Miami Service Corp), giving young people hands-on trade experience while serving our most vulnerable neighbors along with church, Greek, civic and corporate volunteers numbering over 100.
By supporting our Give Miami Day fundraiser, you join a movement rooted in compassion, collaboration, and action-helping us continue restoring homes, families, and community one home at a time.
