Since COVID-19, Oolite Arts has shifted its programming online and provided free art classes for the first 5 months of the pandemic. We initiated a Relief Fund to directly support artists who lost income due to COVID-19. We commissioned 12 filmmakers to produce short films, which were live streamed at our first online film festival, Close Quarters Commissions. We launched an art collection with artwork from Miami-based artists, which we'll donate to museums across the nation to further their careers. During the summer, we organized a Skills: Teen Residency program, where students received mentorship from established visual artists to produce art projects, which they had to present in the final week.
