The O, Miami Poetry festival occurs annually and has the goal of every single person in Miami-Dade County encountering a poem during the month of April. The festival mixes poetry-in-public-places projects with community-led gatherings and site-specific events to create a festival that NPR calls "unlike any poetry festival you've ever heard of."

O, Miami Education offers programming for students via residencies, intensives, and original lesson plans in communities where high-quality poetry instructions is not guaranteed. The goal of these poetry lessons is for students to develop their own capacities for free self-expression; nurture a love for writing and reading; and connect to their family and friends through personal narrative. Poetry sourced from these initiatives is incorporated in to neighborhood-specific public art projects throughout Miami-Dade.

O, Miami Books is a regional imprint that seeks to create a literary publishing voice for Miami. O, Miami publishes titles and zines in a variety of genres, including an annual chapbook prize for Black poets conducted in partnership with Cave Canem Foundation and The Betsy Hotel.
