The mission of The Alhambra Orchestra is to promote the study and performance of classical music in Miami-Dade County, for both children and adults of all ages, and to provide no-barriers access to live classical performances. Some of the ways it may carry out this mission include presentation of free or low-cost symphonic concerts which are readily accessible to seniors, families with young children, and other groups who, it is believed, generally do not attend concerts in major venues; school visits; a concerto competition for South Florida youth; a chamber music workshop for musicians of all ages; various chamber group performances; and collaborations with other community organizations.

Badges of Courage Foundation
Badges of Courage Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded to provide financial assistance to low income women who have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer and those who are in treatment. Often, these women cannot work during their lengthy treatment and without the possibility of income, cannot afford their basic living expenses. Our goal is to give these women tranquility and hope when faced with this disease so that they may concentrate on healing.

The Battier Take Charge Foundation
As a leader on and off the court, Shane Battier firmly believes that the future of our youth rests in higher education. The Battier Take Charge Foundation, established by Shane and his wife Heidi, is dedicated to providing resources for the development and education of underserved youth and teens. With initial focus in Miami, Houston and Detroit, the Battiers' charge is to encourage and inspire a new generation of potential leaders through educational opportunities and the cultivation of effective leadership skills. We achieve this through two primary academic programs: the Scholars Program and the GUIDE Program.

Bike Coconut Grove, Inc.
Bike Coconut Grove is a nonprofit organization founded in February 2014. We are community-based and volunteer-driven. Our mission is to make Coconut Grove more bicycle-friendly (and pedestrian-friendly, too) by promoting bicycling as a form of everyday transportation and recreation. Central to our mission is the need to build and improve the five-mile Commodore Trail, a multiuse path through Coconut Grove with the potential to be one of the recreational jewels of Miami-Dade County.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade, Inc.
The Boys and Girls Clubs (BGC) of Miami-Dade was founded in 1946. Throughout the years, we have provided thousands of youth from low and moderate income families a safe haven away from bad influences during the most vulnerable times of the day when school is out. Every year we strive to find exciting ways to improve/adapt our programs and services to keep them relevant, interesting, educational, and current. We make sure to listen, assess, and respond to the changing needs of our youth, families, and community as a whole. Our mission is to "enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens."
