Music Stars Booster

Our school is a Title 1 elementary school located near Sweetwater. Our students are smart, talented and motivated to achieve and continue to grow their talents and attend performing arts middle schools. Music has many benefits such as increase self-confidence and improved memory. In addition music stimulates the brain and communication. Research continues to prove that children in music programs have a much higher likely-hood to succeed and continue on to post-secondary education. While we have amazing educators and students we lack sufficient funds to provide our students with the necessary instruments, music and technology to help them succeed. Music Stars Booster is a non-for-profit organization whose sole mission is to promote and expose our students to the world of Music. We provide funding to each of the ensembles at EWF. Booster Club funds are used to purchase new instruments, repair equipment and purchase supplies needed to effectively run the music program.The Booster Club is all about supporting the music ensemble program at EWF Stirrup Elementary. The Booster Club plays a major role in keeping the music program moving forward at EWF. They provide the primary funding to each of the ensembles. The Booster Club funds are used to purchase new instruments, repair equipment and purchase supplies needed to effectively run the music program including several events for the community and the parents.
