At Miami EdTech, we believe that access to digital skills is a social justice issue. Founded by former teacher Carlos Vazquez, we’re closing the digital divide by empowering students, educators, and communities to thrive in the digital economy.

Every day, we work to ensure that our community, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds, gain the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to succeed in the future of work.

Through teacher certification programs, hands-on STEM initiatives, and workforce pathways like apprenticeships and pre-apprenticeships, we’re building a pipeline of talent prepared for high-demand careers in AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.

From classrooms to our community resource initiatives, our impact is measurable and growing:

• Over 20,000 students introduced to computer science and engineering through programs like Riders Robotics League and Infento EV Engineering Labs 
• Hundreds of educators certified in high-demand technology fields, leading to higher student engagement and 30 percent more interest in STEM
