Main Street Players is committed to enriching our communities, both the community of Miami Lakes and the South Florida theatre community. We proved an immensely popular summer camp that provides experiential, hands-on learning for the next generation of artists and theatre-goers. We are committed to developing new works by local artists through our New Play competition and free readings of brand new works. Our main stage season includes plays that speak to relevant issues through entertaining, engaging, and sometimes challenging plays.
Mission
The Mission of Main Street Players is to provide enrichment and entertainment to our multicultural audience as well as offer a professional outlet for artistic talents in the South Florida theatre community. We encourage local adults and children to express their creativity by promoting education and interest in the arts.
