Kakes 4 Kids celebrates events for children in foster care, as well as, underprivileged children. These events include birthday parties, picnics, and field trips. Every month we go to ta group home and celebrate their birthdays with entertainment, food, gifts, and a personalized cake for each birthday child. We do this to build their self-esteem and let them know their birthday is special and their lives are worth rejoicing. We are currently doing events for over 300 children a month. These events are done for the entire group home and the children who have a birthday on the month of the celebration receive a cake with a theme they have chosen as well as a gift they have wished for. We bring hope, joy, and love to these children who have been through difficult situations and we get the community involved to create awareness for the group foster homes in our own communities. We are a 100% volunteer based organization. We have over 100 high school student volunteers who are also impacted by their experience with the foster children.
Mission
Kakes 4 Kids believes that every birthday should be special. Our goal is to make foster and underprivileged children understand that their birth was the start of a precious life. We are confident that children who understand their importance will grow up to be admirable adults. This is why we come together to light up candles and lives, one birthday at a time.
