The Wallet Card Project. The Supper Social Club. The Miami Inclusion Alliance. Just a few projects DIG focuses on in our community, as well as providing much-needed disability resources through our trainings, our website and our monthly newsletter.

The Wallet Card Project is a program designed to empower persons with disabilities to advocate for themselves when interacting with law enforcement. The Wallet Card is an identification tool for persons with developmental or intellectual disabilities to disclose their disability to a first responder.  Very often, indicia of a disability are misconstrued as strange or suspicious behavior, and may lead to adverse encounters with persons of authority. Each card is personalized and contains three individualized, disability-related traits of the person, name, contact, and a mood sticker. Along with the Wallet Card, we have training both for persons with disabilities and law enforcement for safe interactions.

The Supper Social Club is a neuro-diverse dining experience, where guests have an opportunity to participate in a fun night out of dining and socializing.

The Miami Inclusion Alliance is a project that looks at the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault system of care through the lens of victims with disabilities, to identify organizational barriers.
