Hello film friends & esteemed followers. We are once again happy to be part of GIVE MIAMI DAY. 

At FilmGate Miami we work year round to create an atmosphere of learning and celebration of film. We love it so much when you show up to our weekly or monthly events. FilmGate Members have seen the benefits of our film organization. We ride alongside the many filmmakers that aim for success within the film scene and industry. We know that times 

Young Artists (YA) Film Camp - We hold a yearly summer teen camp for young teens seeking to learn about filmmaking, the film industry and how to create one or two films during summer recess in South Florida.

FilmGate Interactive Festival - Nov 29th - Dec 3rd 2023. For one week we celebrate visual storytellers and supporting industries through screenings, exhibits, creative labs, master classes, immersive art installations, music and live events. Since 2013, we have hosted 55 workshops and labs and showcased the works of 100+ creatives and over 35 interactive projects.

Filmmaker and Actor Membership benefits - year-round: We support 360 active filmmaker, actor and non-profit members. We provide them with production support and resources, networking and career growth opportunities, studio space, fiscal sponsorship and consultation. As of May 2021, we have assisted our members with over 170 film productions and auditions.

FilmGate Fellowships - year-round: We are currently developing three short films with Arri and a VR project. We accept applications from FL filmmakers, with a focus on diverse voices - LGBTQ, women, LatinX, African American and Indigenous filmmakers.

FilmGate Festival - Last Wednesday of each month (except Dec) at SilverSpot Downtown Miami Theater. Created to celebrate local culture, diversity and regional creativity. Highlights Florida's community of actors and filmmakers. We accept narrative, documentaries, music videos and web series from Florida or made by a Florida citizen, 20 minutes or less. The producer or Director needs to be present at the screening of their film and for the Q&A.

FilmGate Bootcamps, Master Classes and Labs - monthly: Provides the opportunity for local filmmakers to develop their skills under the guidance of experts.
