Welcome to our Non-Formal Arts Education Event, empowering children and women made vulnerable by Domestic Violence Abuse & Civil War Displacement. We're excited to share our vision for a comprehensive support system, addressing their physical, emotional, and economic needs.
Our Children's Social Center provides a safe haven for kids to express themselves through art, dance, music, and play... creative and engaging approaches for individuals to unleash their inner strength and experience new opportunities. Your contribution will help enhance our Art & Dance Studios, Music Studio, and playground areas, promoting cognitive development, creativity, and emotional well-being through our Non-Formal Arts Education Workshops that include:
Cultural Dance: Celebrating our heritage and promoting cultural exchange through traditional dance.
Leadership Training: Empowering individuals to become confident leaders and change-makers.
Peacebuilding: Fostering a culture of peace, tolerance, and understanding.
Emotional Intelligence: Teaching essential life skills for emotional awareness, self-regulation, and relationships.
In addition, our Skills Training Programs aims to empower women and children with essential skills, enabling them to lead self-sufficient lives. With your support, our training programs this year will include:
Hairdressing, Catering/Baking, Computer skills
We shall continue successful workshops started last year offering both income-generating opportunities and support to the community!
Reuseable Menstrual Hygiene Products production: Empowering young ladies to reduceperiod poverty with sustainable and hygienic menstrual products
Liquid Soap Making: Teaching individuals how to create natural and eco-friendly soap, promoting health and hygiene
Tailoring: Equipping participants with sewing skills to create clothing, accessories, and home textiles, fostering entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency.
Crafting: Showcasing local artisans' skills and promoting cultural heritage through handmade crafts, jewelry, and textiles.
Sustainable Gardening: Teaching individuals how to grow their own food, promoting food security and environmental stewardship.
