Compositum Musicae Novae (CMN), now in its ninth season, continues its dedicated efforts to bring new and original created works of artistic expressions to the Miami-Dade community, and its neighboring counties, by providing free and accessible cultural events for all. CMN events feature a variety of interdisciplinary art forms such as music, dance, and the visual and literary arts. CMN prides itself in presenting to our audiences the works of living artists from within our very own community; showcasing the unique amazing talents that can only be found in south Florida. In addition, our annual events include several educational outreach programs which involve the following: our CMN Veterans Concert, were we bring music to our nations military veterans, at the Bruce. W Carter VA Medical Center, who may not have the physical abilities to attend musical events and our CMN Children's Concert, where CMN brings instruments such as a clavichord, harpsichord, theramin and presents a Survey of Western Art Music at various public, charter, and private schools within the Miami-Dade county area.
