Through your investment, we do creative things! We believe through teaching, and using artistic images and expressions to generate conversations and drive actions within our communities, we create stronger individuals, families, communities, and societies! If you believe as we do, invest in us!

Your investment will help:

Art Exhibition and Program

Provide complimentary tickets to individuals from underserved areas
Showcase and employ artists from the local South Florida community
Incorporate discussions on topics that affect Black and Brown People and promote call to action from the general population 

Offer student and community art exhibition tours

   

Family Legacy With Photography

Capture images of elders and families, provide images framed
Attorney discusses; will, trust, probate, and other legal factors most Black communities do not consider
Healthcare Professional discusses health, advocate and Power of Attorney
Bank Professional discusses your finance and bank account after you have passed
Insurance and Funeral professionals speak on Life insurance, funeral and burial preparation
Therapist discusses the importance of counseling during illness & grief, and communication

  

Let's Build It Youth Empowerment Program

Youth program from ages 13 - 18 years old
Up to 5 sessions focusing on the Power of Image; Family, Community and Civic Engagement; Mental, Physical, and Financial Wellness; and Education, Career, and Entrepreneurship
An art form is incorporated into each session to summarize learning; music, photography, poetry, film, etc.
Students' artwork culminates into a virtual or in-person exhibition

    

Annual Student Scholarship/s

Two (2) annual scholarships are awarded to high school seniors or post secondary students
One scholarship is awarded to a Black student with scholastic achievement and community involvement.
The second scholarship is awarded to any high school senior or post secondary student whose area of studies is within the art field.

  

We are dedicated to uplifting artists and fostering sustainable career pathways through mentorship, work opportunities, and contractual engagements.  Our mentorship programs provide emerging artists with the guidance and tools necessary to navigate their careers effectively.  Additionally, we actively create and promote work opportunities for artists, including event collaborations, commissioned projects, and public showcases, ensuring that their talents are both recognized and rewarded.  We also prioritize building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with local businesses and vendors. By collaborating with these entities, we support the local economy, integrate diverse perspectives into our programming, and ensure the resources needed to execute our initiatives are sourced from within the community.
