The Woman's Club of Coconut Grove's (Originally Housekeepers' Club) historic Clubhouse, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  It provides meetings and workspace for its membership, and serves as a host for community events.  Founded on February 19, 1891, we are the oldest Federated Woman's Club in South Florida, since 1901. 

Mission:  We are dedicated to enriching the Miami community through the promotion of public welfare, education, civic improvement, history preservation, and advancement of the arts while fostering good fellowship among its members. 

Please help us, not only maintain our beautiful historic building but also continue our work with the community by supporting our programs, such as: 

  • Archives - preserving our history
  • Arts and Culture - provides and supports access to creative arts activities and events for its members and the community in the fields of dance, theater, music, architecture, and art book club. 
  • Community Life - The mission is to enrich the lives of our citizens through service projects and programs that improve the quality of existence.
  • Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention  - educational awareness and self-defense.
  • Environment - Electronic Recycling, Clean the Bay, Eco-friendly
  • Plastics Free Initiative (PFI) is all about saving our marine life, ecosystems, birds, and humans from the damage and suffering from plastic pollution.
  • Young Artist Gallery (YAG) Awarding College Scholarships and providing exhibition experience to deserving art students from Miami-Dade Public High Schools
