The Marian Center was founded in 1963 and this year celebrated their 60th year of service to the Miami community. We offer services for people with intellectual disabilities, regardless of race, religion, or background, and we offer financial aid to all those who qualify. Located on a beautiful 50- acre campus next to St. Thomas University, the Marian Center has the following educational and other services to assist the needs of all ages:
School - educational needs of students with special needs from 6 to 21 in small classroom environments.
Adult Day Training - Young and middle-aged adults are prepared for future suitable employment and activities in line with interests and abilities.
Residential Services - Provides a home-like environment where residents experience everyday life and pursue greater independence in a supportive and caring atmosphere.

Mission
The Mission of the Marian Center is to educate, train and serve people with developmental disabilities
and assist them in wholeness, pursuant to the dictates of the Gospel and of the Church's call to love,
charity and justice.
