The Bridge Miami

We place a premium on accessibility for all. We subsidize all our private studio and event residencies to provide maximum cost savings for our artists and keep our events free or affordably priced. At the same time we value our artists and are committed to fair pay for our performers. We prize diversity, intentionally curating our events so as to bring together people of vastly varied tastes and backgrounds. And, we have made our neighbors our biggest fans by including them in all that we do as our special VIPs as they've become family to us. We serve and partner with many of South Florida's arts organizations including Guitars Over Guns, City of Progress, The Miami Girls Rock Camp, Sweat Records, City Theater and many others. The Bridge is South Florida's only non-profit dedicated to serving musicians. Miami is fortunate to host so many talented musicians but, there is very little infrastructure or support for them. With help from a Knight Arts Challenge Grant, we provided acoustic treatment and soundproofing throughout the building for all of our studio residents. As such, we also offer the only creative studio spaces made for musicians rather than visual artists. As our name may suggest, we seek to connect; people, organizations, collaborators. We are a truly unique organization in South Florida. Providing year round event programming of all kinds and hosting live recording sessions we have connected people and inspired movements. From kids to Grammy award winning artists, our recording studio has been quietly producing Miami's best musicians. Our recording studio features what may be South Florida's largest live room where we can accommodate large groups and record live performances before an audience. We are a young non-profit but, founder Nicole Martinez has been active in Miami's music and art community for over 20 years and has been the sole source of funding for The Bridge. We seek to grow and do more.
