With the power of television as one of our greatest assets, we expanded our services beyond hurricane relief and evolved into one of the most effective vehicles for connecting those in need with those who can help. Neighbors 4 Neighbors continues to be unlike any other organization in that we are non-self-serving. Our forte is to bolster the resources of our private and community-based partners to serve more families.
Working in partnership with CBS4 and TV33 News, we also organize several campaigns dealing with the issues that dominate local headlines. No other nonprofit and television network in the United States has paired together this way, for this long.
Mission
Neighbors 4 Neighbors is a nationally recognized nonprofit, created in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Our simple mission is to connect those in need with those who can help. Using a combination of resource development, collaboration with service providers and the power of media, we empower our neighbors to use the talents, time and money they have to help others. In 2021, Neighbors 4 Neighbors developed and delivered $2.6 Million in resources and donated goods to our neighbors in need, and nonprofit partners. You will see Neighbors 4 Neighbors every time our community is in crisis, from Hurricanes, to Covid to Surfside or daily when a family or individual is looking for resources or have resources to give. We are there to guide them, and find the best help for them or the best way for them to help.
