Musicall Youth Orchestra of Miami is the only youth orchestra from Florida to have achieved first place in an international competition, specifically their victory at the Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Festival 2023. No other Florida youth orchestra has achieved a similar first-place honor at an international level.

Meet the young talents in the picture, the Musicall Youth Orchestra of Miami. They made us all proud by winning first place at the prestigious Summa Cum Laude competition in Vienna, Austria. It's a testament to our commitment to nurturing musical excellence, both locally and globally. 

This year, all contributions on Give Miami Day will support the Youth Orchestra of Miami's journey to the Summa Cum Laude Competition, one of the most prestigious Youth Orchestra Competitions in the world. Our goal is not only to secure first place once again but also to elevate the stature of Miami's Arts Movement on the global stage.

OUR ORGANIZATION                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               At Musicall, our mission is to provide comprehensive music education as a critical component of children's integral education, fostering social and emotional skills and inspiring a lifelong love of learning. 

Our primary focus centers on the children and youth within our community. Musicall offers a diverse range of educational opportunities, including three distinct orchestra levels, preparatory classes for various instruments such as Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, and Guitar, Theory/Piano Lab Classes, Family Music Classes for toddlers, Four Hands (Introduction to piano for preschoolers), as well as semi-private music lessons and Improvisation, all at an affordable cost. We are dedicated to ensuring that no child is left behind, and therefore, we provide scholarships to qualified children, offering them free lessons and access to instruments.

Our performances, recitals, and workshops not only enrich the lives of our students but also serve as a means to engage with the broader community, emphasizing the significance of music education. Our unwavering commitment is to maintain the highest standards of instruction while fostering a welcoming, enjoyable, and nurturing environment that encompasses the entire family.

Musicall's After-School and Summer Programs extend the benefits of music education, academic support, and social enrichment to the youth in our community. These programs primarily serve underprivileged Hispanic and African-American communities, with many students coming from low-income backgrounds. Our programs adhere to a traditional school year and summer calendar, serving kindergarten through 12th-grade students, and are strategically located in underserved neighborhoods.

In keeping with our commitment to inclusive education, Musicall ensures equal opportunities for children with and without disabilities, emphasizing participation, understanding, and accommodating differences. We prioritize accessibility in our facilities and areas to ensure all children can fully engage with our offerings.

Furthermore, our curriculum extends beyond music instruction, embracing a holistic approach to education that nurtures the well-rounded development of every child.
