Miami's Next Leaders

Through Institute each year, Miami's Next Leaders trains and develops young progressive professionals who have demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to Miami through their involvement in the community. We believe that in order to make a better Miami, we need driven, compassionate, and impact-oriented leaders in a variety of sectors pushing for progressive change.

Institute is the formal leadership training course for Miami's Next Leaders. Participants spend five weekends creating a deep network of allies and learning about issues affecting our community.

Institute participants partake in opportunities including but not limited to:
-Participating in skill-building trainings relevant for professionals in all sectors through dynamic workshops
-Immersing themselves in issues affecting Miami alongside community leaders and change makers
-Identifying specific personal leadership and career goals and a personal plan of action to impact the community through a capstone project
-Engaging with other progressives working across Miami through our alumni network
-Receiving coaching from a mentor who will support them on their path to leadership development and personal growth

Miami's Next Leaders provides its alumni networking and educational opportunities as well, so all past and current fellows are supported and can continue their work in bettering the Miami community.
