Painting from the Heart Art Show - This show will provide students who are presently enrolled in Miami-Dade County Public Schools the opportunity to explore their own passion in the "Arts" and showcase their work for their family, friends and the community. Each school will be allowed to submit up to 5 paintings/art work in each category. Renowned artists, painters, and administrators will judge the paintings. There will be something for the entire family. Musical ensembles will perform, and there will be a painting station and a tattoo station for the children to enjoy. Recognition will be given to each submitted entry and the most outstanding painting from each category (5 in total) will receive an Artist's Basket worth over $150.

Parade of the Stars Talent Show - All Community Schools, as well as Before and After School Programs are invited to attend. If you have talent, come and show it at our Annual Parade of the Stars Talent Show. Every year, the M-DCCE puts on this event and raises awareness of all the talented students that attend our Community Schools. This year, 3 prizes will be given to the best singing ensemble, dancing ensemble, cheerleading ensemble and instrumental ensemble. This fun filled event brings out a great crowd of enthusiastic parents and children.

The School House Awards Breakfast - This is our annual event where teachers, administrators, volunteers, and businesses get recognized for their commitment in Community School Education. Awards are given out in several categories for their achievements. It truly gives administrators the opportunity to recognize those individuals that have given so much to Community Education. Additionally, we have auction items (all donated) that raise funds as well.

The money raised through these events will go to Scholarship Awards Fund for students who attend Miami-Dade County Public Schools and are graduating High School or graduating an Adult Education Center.
