While the Museum is taking a hard hit financially since temporarily closing to the public on March 13th, we remain dedicated to our mission of serving children of all abilities, learning styles, and backgrounds. Our team pivoted to create new, original digital educational experiences utilizing our team's knowledge of early childhood education and strength's in visual and performing arts as a vehicle for providing educational experiences that are fun and engaging for children from birth to age 10.
Due to the interactive hands-on nature of our exhibits, the Museum will likely be the last cultural facility to reopen in Miami. Until Miami Children's Museum can fully reopen, we must rely on private donations to sustain the Museum and our vital community programs.
To come out the other side stronger, we hope that your love of the Museum reminds you of all the essential art-enriched education we provide to the community. Your support is essential to the Museum's efforts to continue providing educational resources to our community, especially those most at risk of suffering significant learning loss due to COVID-19, and to sustain the organization during this lengthy closure and the long road to recovery.
