Homestead Christian Academy

Founded in 2005, HCA is an early education facility that promotes the overall well-being of children. We serve children in the foster care system and other high-risk youth, with 80% of the families we serve living below the poverty line. We believe education is a joint effort between the home, school and community. We offer many events throughout the year to involve families in their child's education. Our experienced staff provide engaging activities and work to meet the individual needs of each child. All families benefit from our in-house therapist who works with children, parents and guardians, and teaching staff to help them be successful in the classroom. We aim to provide all children with a sense of security, love and safety so that they are ready and eager to learn. For young children, play is an essential part of growth and development and we incorporate play in all activities throughout the day. In order to expand the types of play experiences we offer our goal is to renovate our outdoor play area and add a section to accommodate infants and toddlers. We also hope to add STEM materials and other enrichment activities in all classrooms. With your generous donation, children will be exposed to a wider range of experiences that will impact their learning and development.
