Biscayne Bay Recovery Fund

A nonprofit organization

$2,950 raised

Biscayne Bay is a vital resource for Miami-Dade's economy. It contributes $64 billion annually and generates over 400,000 jobs for our community. That's why the Resilient 305 strategy's primary action item is to "Protect and Restore Biscayne Bay," prioritizing it regionally.

It is essential to maintain the health of Biscayne Bay as the County continues to grow. Preserving, protecting, and restoring the habitat and watershed that we rely on are vital to our community's health and prosperity. By working together as a community, we can reduce and eliminate pollution, raise awareness, and strive for a healthier, more resilient Biscayne Bay.

The Biscayne Recovery Fund will complement the goals and future proceeds collected from the Protect Biscayne Bay specialty license plate to strengthen education and support conservation efforts.

Together, we can keep the blue heart of our County healthy and ensure its preservation, protection, and restoration for generations to come.
