We help low income women at a time when they are vulnerable and desperate. They are in treatment for breast cancer and many of them are alone, with young children. We provide them as much as possible so that they may gain hope and tranquility during a very difficult time.
Mission
Badges of Courage Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded to provide financial assistance to low income women who have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer and those who are in treatment. Often, these women cannot work during their lengthy treatment and without the possibility of income, cannot afford their basic living expenses. Our goal is to give these women tranquility and hope when faced with this disease so that they may concentrate on healing.
