Our 25th Anniversary: Sustain the Brilliance of Miami’s Children & Help Them Thrive Through the Arts!
For 25 years, Arts for Learning/Miami (A4L) has believed in something simple yet powerful: every child deserves the chance to create, imagine, discover, and thrive through the arts.
Today, more than 75 A4L teaching artists bring the arts to life at more than 50 locations across Miami-Dade County, reaching 5,000 children and families with experiences that spark creativity, build confidence, and open new possibilities. Your donation will ensure that more students have access to the arts.
As we celebrate our anniversary, we’re encouraging first time donors to consider $25 monthly. For repeating donors, we invite you to double your gift and/or donate monthly. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to help power more than 9,000 arts classes each year, supporting the teaching artists who transform our schools, preschools, parks, community centers, libraries and neighborhoods month after month—from fall through spring and straight into summer.
Our programs reach students from infancy through high school and provide experiences in the visual arts, music, theatre, dance, creative writing, film, architecture and animation.
OUR IMPACT
100% of 8th graders graduating from our Lewis Arts Studio were accepted into their art magnet school of choice.
100% of preschool teachers reported student gains in self-awareness, motor skills, self-regulation, and pre-literacy skills.
95% of high schoolers effectively work collaboratively through artistic challenges.
91% of high schoolers successfully use problem-solving skills to complete art projects.
86% of surveyed students stated they get to try new things in their A4L classes.
