Empowering Single Christians to Be Like Jesus!

“I want you to be free from concern… An unmarried person is concerned about the Lord’s affairs, how to please the Lord.” — 1 Corinthians 7:32

We know that God loves single people, too. He has plans for His single children and cares deeply for their needs. That’s why our focus at Single Life Ministries, Inc. (SLM) is on creating community, providing support, and nourishing singleness in all its forms: never married, divorced, and widowed.

Many unmarried Christians feel neglected by the church or believe that their lives are on hold until marriage. The church often focuses much of its energy and programming on the nuclear family unit, leaving singles feeling unseen, unheard, and incomplete. Fortunately, we know that God cares for His unmarried children and is always working. We exist to tell that story: The story of God's love and purpose that is already at work in the lives of unmarried Christians. 

Through our programs, we give unmarried Christians the tools to be like Jesus and live full, Christ-centered lives in singleness. We envision a Miami filled with believers living in agreement with 1 Corinthians 7:32, free from worldly concern, devoted to the Lord, and thriving in purpose and community.

Our first program, Come Tell A Story (CTAS), debuted in March 2023. It is a live quarterly storytelling series where singles share true stories of God’s faithfulness: stories of friendship, forgiveness, healing, and hope. Since launching, we have welcomed nearly thirty storytellers who, like our attendees, describe the experience as cathartic, empowering, and much-needed.

Alongside CTAS, we host Socials, relaxed gatherings that help singles build friendships and faith-filled community outside of church walls without a dating agenda. Whether bowling, sharing a meal, or simply enjoying one another’s company, these events create space for joy, laughter, and belonging.

In the near future, we plan to offer Life Classes, faith-based workshops that equip singles to grow spiritually and emotionally. Each session blends biblical teaching with real-life application, helping participants strengthen their relationship with God and others.

This year, we are raising $8,000 to fund programming just like this: experiences that bring singles together to grow in faith and community. When you give, you are not just funding events; you are investing in transformed lives.
