We align and localize the United Nations 2030 Agenda and apply the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework as an advocacy tool for local equity-focused policy planning and developing sustainable solutions that must balance multiple dimensions of economic, social, and environmental sustainability.
Our core initiatives include:
- SDG 12 Responsible Consumption and Production & SDG 14 Life Below Water - local partnership to produce SDG 14 coasters from recycled plastic collected from beaches in South Florida. We aim to re-imagine plastic through sustainable innovation reusing plastic and enhancing philanthropic environmental investments to transform Miami into a sustainable city for all.
- Sustainability Dialogue Series - thoughtful, purposeful, and authentic conversations among subject matter experts, established and emergent leaders committed to address systemic issues and share innovative, viable and equitable solutions tackling environmental stewardship, economic growth, and social progress.
- SDGs Consortium South Florida - interdisciplinary and multisectoral collaborative and innovative space to co-create strategies, policy and business solutions to contribute to the region's sustainable growth. Multiplicity of stakeholders are invited with the intent to create, accelerate and scale SDGs initiatives and solutions that must balance social, environmental & economic sustainability.
