Our next future concerts include "From Cuba & Iberoamerica" is planned for July 6th of 2021 at the Wertheim and Nicole Performing Arte Center, at one of our leading universities in Miami. It will be showcasing the Grammy awarded concert pianist Elizabeth Rebozo and .soprano, Raquel Rubi. On this opportunity, RubiMusic will present a fusion of classical music with modern elements of jazz and percussion. The purpose of our work is to maintain alive the roots of our culture and the classical music . Genres as the zarzuela and style dance are at risk of disappearing if we do not show and promote their beauty and elegance. Professional classical musicians, on the other hand, have minimum opportunities to get into these repertoires since the demand goes to popular genres much easier to perform. The history and richness of this music should remain alive if we teach and expose the new generations to these genres. WIth your support we can do it. It is worth it!
Mission
RubiMusic provides cultural opportunities to the community of South Florida with a double role: bringing classical music and educational programs to kids and their families and providing performance opportunities to the young local talents of our community. Our performers include children and teenagers with classical training in different instruments, as well as singers and dancers, also young local artists and professional musicians of the classical field. Our performances aim to cover a variety of genres to diversify the culture of our society and prepare our future generations of artists.
