Rincón de San Lázaro was founded in the early 1970s by a group of Cuban immigrants who arrived in the United States in search of freedom and a place to continue their devotion to Saint Lazarus.
What began in a small rented office in Hialeah grew, through faith, sacrifice, and the dedication of our community, into the church we know today. For more than five decades, Rincón de San Lázaro has served as a spiritual home and a place of hope, prayer, and support for families throughout South Florida.
Today, our church welcomes people from all backgrounds and provides religious services, community programs, spiritual guidance, charitable assistance, and opportunities for families to grow in faith.

Our mission is to welcome, serve, and unite our community through faith in Jesus Christ, devotion to Saint Lazarus, the celebration of the sacraments, and compassionate service to those in need.
