We don't tell people what to do. We help them do it.
When a child is struggling with development, behavior, learning, or emotional well-being, families are often left overwhelmed. They are trying to understand what is happening, find the right services, manage long waitlists, and advocate for their child while carrying the emotional weight of caregiving. Too often, support is fragmented and reactive, leaving families in Miami-Dade to seek help only after challenges have escalated into a crisis.
Family Support Coalition (FSC) is changing that.
Our approach is intentionally proactive. We focus on early identification, prevention, advocacy, and caregiver well-being so families can spot concerns early, understand their options, and act before challenges become overwhelming.
Through our CareVillage™ ecosystem, FSC empowers families of children and young adults with developmental differences or disabilities in Miami-Dade by working alongside them. We help caregivers build the knowledge, skills, and resilience they need to understand their child's needs, navigate complex systems, and take action with confidence.
FSC connects local families to practical support across their journey, including access to new technologies. Our bilingual model helps underserved Hispanic families overcome language, information, and system-navigation barriers that can prevent them from accessing the support they need. Throughout that journey, we prioritize caregiver mental well-being, because supporting a child also means supporting the person who cares for them.
Your support helps FSC reach families earlier, connect the dots between services and support, and make sure no family in Miami-Dade feels alone or lost on their caregiving journey.
