Beacon College Prep K-8 is dedicated to providing the very best educational opportunities to its Title I (+93%), all-minority community, where the student population is predominantly African American, Haitian American, and Hispanic. Through a relentless commitment to excellence, the school creates an environment of high expectations, academic rigor, and social-emotional support that empowers our students to overcome barriers and unlock their full potential.

Mission

Beacon College Prep (BCP) is a tuition-free, K-8 public charter school founded in 2014.

We are a public charter school in Miami-Dade county that is locally-grown and serving student populations from the Opa-Locka, Liberty City, and Miami Gardens communities.

Our mission is to lead students to superior academic achievement, cultivate their talents and interests, and foster admirable character traits to build strong foundations that empower their success to-and-through college.
