Haynes Harbour, Inc.

A nonprofit organization

Haynes Harbour, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) direct service provider of integrative health and social services. We condemn all forms of human rights abuses, including human trafficking and sexual exploitation of children and youth. We expand victim services opportunities by providing therapeutic and personal growth programming such as:
• survivor-led initiatives;
• victim assistance;
• furnished and unfurnished single/shared residential safe harbors;
• liberty kits/hygiene essentials, social support services;
• transitional and independent living for youth in extended foster care;
• independent living for expecting/nurturing youth, life skills/financial coaching;
• wellness/fitness coaching; and,
• non-traditional entrepreneurship opportunities (NEO) through our "Community for Creative Leadership" programming.

Our target populations include victims and survivors of human/sex trafficking with an emphasis on homeless and//or displaced expecting/nurturing youth/women, individuals who identify as LGBTQ+ (18-23 years old), and youth in extended foster care (18-23 years old). Our integrative person-centered framework encourages our consumers to gain autonomy for their lives by empowering them with a voice to identify their personal goals, social interests, skills/abilities, personal styles, personal values, and personal morals. Our comprehensive models focus on the art of nourishing the mind, body, and spirit/soul. Consumers can engage in any of our individual, group, drop-in/wrap-around services, and non-traditional entrepreneurship (NEO) programming. Securing safe harbors will be vital to establishing physical and emotional safety for consumers, and is an essential ingredient for their recoveries. It is our goal, by Dec. 2020, to secure 5 affordable corporate units to provide safe crisis housing and transitional long-term housing for homeless and/or displaced victims and survivors of human trafficking.

Mission

Haynes Harbour, Inc. prides itself on seeking, saving, and serving the vulnerable populace in underserved communities in an effort to alleviate human trafficking, poverty, hunger, and homelessness. Our vision is to reach, rescue, restore, and reintegrate victims and survivors of human trafficking back into a life of normalcy. Our goal is to help individuals in crises and experiencing trauma with solutions to better their lives and reach their full potential of emotional and mental freedom.
