Nora Sandigo Children Foundation (NSCF) was established in 1989 by Monsignor Pablo Antonio Vega and Nora Sandigo. NSCF focuses on children who have lost or are at risk of losing their parents to deportation and detention. Our founder has an international reputation for being the legal guardian of nearly 1,200 such children. Her guardianship assures that these children do not end up in foster care, and that they remain in contact with their families. NSCF provides families with healthy food, school and other supplies, access to legal services and assistance in navigating the immigration, school, and health care systems.
