Connection Coalition(CoCo), affectionately known as CoCo, provides organizations with paid and in-kind programming offered by local volunteers who have completed our Trauma Informed Outreach Training. This training curriculum develops specific skills and awareness needed to make authentic connection through yoga, teaching self-awareness and self-control while providing messages of empowerment. Since 2003, CoCo has been able to serve more than 25,000 youth nationwide. Our trauma-informed training is delivered over 15 hours and is available to any person within the community.
Programming with youth has been a staple for CoCo since 2003.
The outreach work has provided tools for self regulation in hundreds of Florida programs like, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, United Way, Embrace Girls Foundation, Girl Power Rocks, and more. You can find a brief list of community partners here.
We need your support once again to help us get back into the schools with tools to empower your kids, our future leaders with simple healthy coping life skills that will stay with them for life!
Mission
CoCo's mission is to support collective behavior shifts by educating on the impacts of trauma. The education provides access to mind/body tools that foster emotional awareness, leading you to access and reform deeply held unconscious bias.
