Urbanpromise Miami Inc

A nonprofit organization

Located in the heart of Little Havana, URBAN PROMISE MIAMI is celebrating their 10 year anniversary providing holistic urban empowerment to at risk children right in our community and preparing for the next "Decade of PROMISE." Co-founded by Carrollton Alumnae, Judge Kristy Nuñez and Dr. Ana Ojeda, Urban Promise Miami is a phenomenal non-profit organization that provides a robust after school program, tutoring, healthy snacks & meals, full time summer camps, character formation, mentorship, financial guidance, a street leadership program for teens, college & vocational counseling and invaluable on-site mental health counseling. Over 80% of the kids have no stable male role model in the home and 95% live below the poverty line with PTSD levels of stress. By providing kids with the effective skills to face life's variety of challenges, Urban Promise gives them a solid foundation that will change the trajectory of their futures. The Urban Promise 305 Club is a teen volunteer force of students from Belen Jesuit Preparatory and Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart. They help fulfill the mission of Urban Promise through mentorship and meaningful direct service hours throughout the year.

Won't you become PART OF THE PROMISE and support Urban Promise with a donation? By each of us doing our own small part, we can give the kids at Urban Promise Miami a real hometown advantage.
