Thursday is Give Miami Day. I hope you will support Legal Services of Greater Miami where I have worked as attorney for the past 22 years. The legal system is complex and confusing. Without an attorney, families may be evicted, lose their home to foreclosure, have their wages garnished, or lose important safety net programs which provide access to health care, food, and a basic income.  Every day our attorneys are in the trenches representing clients who are facing these legal issues.  Through our representation, we help prevent homelessness and avoid further economic instability. Last year, our attorneys provided legal assistance which helped more than 22,000 people. I hope you will help support our mission to advance economic opportunity and social justice.
