Bring the power of music to every student in Miami
Young Musicians Unite (YMU) believes every child deserves access to high-quality music education, regardless of socioeconomic background. Through partnerships with schools and community organizations, YMU provides free music education that inspires personal growth, strengthens communities, and prepares the next generation of leaders.
As Florida’s largest provider of free music education, YMU delivers in-school and after-school programs to Title I schools throughout Miami-Dade County, reaching more than 16,200 students each week across 106 public schools.
We provide professional instructors, structured curriculum, instruments, technology, and program infrastructure to build sustainable music programs where access does not exist. From first notes in elementary school to advanced ensembles in high school, students follow clear pathways for artistic growth, leadership, and opportunity.
Through safe and creative learning environments, students build confidence, belonging, mentorship, and real world skills that strengthen school engagement and support academic success.
Your support helps us reach our goal of raising $3 million to expand our impact to 23,000 students across 155 schools by the 2027–2028 school year.
This Give Miami Day, join us in ensuring every child has the chance to learn, perform, and shine.
