For over 18 years, Miami Beach Pride (MBP) has been a lifeline for LGBTQIA+ individuals and families, providing visibility, connection, and a safe space to those of all ages, backgrounds, and identities. Guided by our mission to bring together the LGBTQ+ community, our friends, allies, and supporters, MBP plans and produces a year-round roster of events centered on entertainment, culture, and civic and social engagement.

Since 2009, Miami Beach Pride has grown from a weekend celebration into the largest Pride organization in the Southeast, and one of Florida's premier LGBTQIA+ cultural and tourism destinations. What began as a single weekend has expanded into an interdisciplinary festival spanning 10 days of programming that amplifies diverse voices, fost civic pride, and strengthens community cohesion across Miami-Dade and South Florida.

The Climate Has Changed. We Haven't. Miami Beach Pride is producing the 19th edition of its weekend festival and parade (April 9-11th, 2027) inside a challenging cultural and political climate, marked by national debate over the rollback of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and shifting corporate funding priorities. Through it all, MBP has remained steadfast in its commitment to the most marginalized members of our community: transgender and non-binary individuals, Black, Caribbean, Latin and Hispanic constituents, people with disabilities, elders, youth, and those living at the intersections of these identities.

Pride is bigger than any one person, moment, or event. It is personal, unique, and limitless, connecting us all through love, courage, and visibility, which is why, despite the changing political landscape, Miami Beach Pride remains steadfast in keeping its Festival and Parade FREE and accessible to all—because belonging should never come with a price tag.

❤ A Free, Accessible Festival & Parade - South Florida's largest Pride celebration, free and open to all ages, drawing residents and visitors from across the region and around the world.

❤ Queer Art Showcase - Now approaching its seventh season, this signature program has given exhibition opportunities to 76 LGBTQIA+ South Florida visual artists to date, including 52 based in Miami-Dade County

❤ Pride Family Picnic - An intergenerational, family-friendly celebration featuring bounce houses, one-on-one educational craft experiences, and community activities that welcome younger residents and families into the Pride experience.

❤ Legacy Couples Program - Honoring LGBTQIA+ couples, many of whom are celebrating 30+ years of love, whose enduring partnerships have helped build and sustain our community. We are committed to preserving their stories and celebrating their relationships. Their visibility in the Pride Parade is always a symbol of hope and belonging for future generations.

❤ A Safe, Affirming Space - Programming designed specifically to welcome LGBTQIA+ individuals with disabilities, elders, transgender and BIPOC community members, and artists and allies across every discipline.

❤ Miami Beach Pride "Angels" Scholarship Fund - In partnership with the Pointe Foundation, MBP funds scholarships for two Miami-Dade LGBTQIA+ students each season, helping the next generation pursue their education without sacrificing who they are.
