Some people leave behind buildings. Others leave behind businesses. When the founder of Care 4 U, Don Henderson passed away in 2022, he left behind something even more meaningful ~ a mission. No one should be denied access to quality healthcare because of their financial circumstances. Seeing families forced to choose between paying bills and seeing a doctor in communities where health disparities continued to grow. He chose to create a vision and in 2014 that vision became Care 4 U Community Health Center.

From the very beginning, Care 4 U has existed to meet the unmet healthcare needs of individuals & families by providing high-quality and affordable primary care to everyone regardless of their ability to pay. Everyday, our team serves people who might otherwise go without preventive care, chronic disease management, health screenings, and the medical attention they deserve. Every patient represents a neighbor, a parent, a child, or a senior who deserves the opportunity to live a healthier life.

How We Build A Healthier Community

We try our best to eliminate barriers to quality healthcare by addressing health disparities and empower neighborhoods in low-income and medically underserved communities. Our services focus on whole-person wellness which includes Routine & Preventative Care, Integrated Health Services & Chronic Disease Management.

The Challenges We Face 

Since 2018 we have served over 13,000 community members but we still have more work to do. Over 40% of low-income and uninsured adults have problems affording routine doctor visits, which often leads to suffering worse long-term health outcomes. Care 4 U and centers like us often become vital safety nets in underserved communities to help keep families healthy.
