Sunset Elementary School PTA

The Sunset Elementary PTA works year-round to enhance our school for the benefit of our students and teachers.  Thanks to your support, we’ve made meaningful campus improvements—from maintaining our landscaping and adding playground canopies to transforming our Media Center with new furniture, shelving, and paint.  Your generosity has also helped us purchase new cafeteria tables and provide other essential school resources.

This year, we are not only celebrating 40 years of the Magnet Program, but also 130 years of Sunset Elementary creating smiles!

To honor this incredible milestone, we are setting a goal to raise $130,000 to give back to the place our students call home. We encourage you to “Give a Smile”.

Our goal is to create engaging, functional areas where students can learn, play, explore, and thrive. With your support, we are raising funds to upgrade privacy screens throughout the school, refresh the Kinder Gardening space, and transform the Old School House area into a welcoming, usable space where students can learn, play, and grow.

These enhancements will extend learning beyond the classroom and give our students more opportunities to explore, connect, and enjoy fresh air and sunshine throughout the campus.

Beyond these initiatives, the PTA continues to fund important programs and resources such as the Accelerated Reader program, student agendas for grades 2–5, ongoing landscaping and maintenance, and various capital improvements.  We also support appreciation events, holiday and end-of-year treats, and the performers and activities that make Sunset’s Cultural Education, including our annual World Fair Day so special.

We are incredibly grateful for your generous donation to the Sunset Elementary PTA.  Your support makes a direct and meaningful impact on our students’ learning experiences and strengthens our entire school community.
