Help Sprout Up Grow $5,000 for South Dade

This Give Miami Day, we’re asking our community to help Sprout Up raise $5,000 to support families and children across South Dade.

Sprout Up began with a simple idea: no family should have to wonder where their next healthy meal will come from. Today, that idea has grown into a community food security and wellness organization connecting families to healthy food, nutrition education, community gardening, social-emotional learning, mental wellness support and family-centered programs.

In 2025, Sprout Up helped provide food access to 8,772 households through community food distributions across South Dade.

But we know that food is only part of the picture.

A child needs more than a meal. Families need more than a food box. Communities need access to knowledge, resources, safe spaces and opportunities to grow.

That’s why we’re growing something bigger.

Your Give Miami Day gift will help Sprout Up continue providing the food, programs and community connections that help South Dade families thrive.

$25 can help provide resources for a family program.
$50 can help support youth and wellness programming.
$100 can help strengthen community food access and education.
$250 can help us invest in programming that reaches multiple families.
