Ladies of Phoenix Rose

The Ladies of Phoenix Rose Inc. empowers young girls to become women through mentorship. While educating on circumstances and chance, supporting through sister circles, advocating positive life choices, creating a career path of self-reliance and developing positive relationships with community advocates.

Through mentorship we are able to activate skills, talents, network, and empower others through service, transparency, authenticity, and respect. The mentors the tools and training for successful and meaningful relationships with their mentees in communities across Miami-Dade County. Mentors inspire and motivate at-risk youth toward college through one-on-one mentoring that nourishes a sense of pride, self-confidence, and competence.

Programming focuses on academic achievement, self-esteem, professional development, social competence, and avoidance of problem/high-risk behavior of youth by providing a relationship with a caring mentor. Mentees are provided instant connection with trained peer mentors, who can offer a complete picture of campus life to high school seniors preparing for the next phase and give leadership opportunities.
