Every day, cats across South Florida are abandoned, injured, sick, hungry, or simply left with nowhere to turn.
At Finding Pasha Cat Rescue, our hope is simple: when a cat desperately needs help, we want to be able to say yes.
Finding Pasha is an independent, privately operated 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue and sanctuary. We provide food, veterinary and medical care, medication, rehabilitation, spay/neuter services, covered shelter, and a safe place for cats to heal and feel secure again.
Because people sometimes mistake us for a municipal animal shelter, we want our supporters to know something important:
Finding Pasha has never been funded by the City and has never received City funding for our rescue or sanctuary operations.
The food we serve, veterinary care we provide, medications we purchase, litter we use, and the everyday costs of caring for our cats are made possible through donations, supporters, businesses, foundations, and people like you.

A Deeper Look into Our Mission at Finding Pasha
Finding Pasha is dedicated to rescuing, fostering, caring for, and adopting out vulnerable cats and kittens across South Florida. Every day, we save animals from the dangers of street life and from euthanasia in overcrowded shelters, giving them a true second chance.
Our volunteers provide safe, loving foster homes until each cat is ready for adoption. For seniors, special-needs cats, or those unlikely to be adopted, we are working to build South Florida’s Feline Cat Sanctuary in the Redlands—a peaceful haven offering lifelong care and a welcoming public space for visitors to spend time with our residents.
We care for orphaned kittens needing bottle-feeding, mother cats with litters, shy or unsocialized cats, and those who are sick or injured. Every cat receives the individualized care they need to grow, heal, and prepare for adoption.
When they’re ready, we work tirelessly to place them in safe, loving forever homes.
