The Miami Chapter of the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) understands that teaching computer science is hard. That's why our dedicated team has focused on creating a strong environment to support K-12 educators and improve computer science education in Miami.
We're proud to have created a community that:
- Is led by K-12 computer science teachers, and puts teacher needs at the forefront
- Provides opportunities for computer science professional development
- Provides opportunities to broaden participation of K-12 students into computer science. Especially for students who have been excluded because of their race, gender, or geography.
- Shares the latest best practices in K-12 computer science education
- Creates opportunities for our local community that make sure every computer science teacher has a home.
